Eagles Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse - On this their Senior Night game, Eagles Varsity kept the crowd on the edge of their seats with a buzzer beating goal against Caledonia, triumphing 7-6! Goals were scored by Halle Couch (3), Lili Bouwma (2), Niya Couch, and Sophie Israels. Assists were credited to Lili Bouwma with 3 feeds. Attacker Niya Couch was credited with winning 3 draws and controlling 3 draws. Attacker Lili Bouwma was credited with winning 3 draws and controlling 1 draw. Freshman goalie Katie Hoeksema was credited with 7 saves. Defensive player of the game was Rylee Sigler for being a brick wall on defense as well as her 3 ground balls and Katie Hoeksema for her great game in goal. The team’s Ground Hog Award was given to freshman Adia Sikkema for her work scooping up 7 ground balls. With 3 assists, Lili Bouwma was awarded Laxister of the game. Way to go Eagles!!
