GRAND HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Eagles Varsity return from spring break to another victory, defeating the Buccaneers of Grand Haven 16-4! Goals were scored by seniors Lili Bouwma (6) and Niya Couch (6), Halle Couch (2), and sophomores Maddie Christians, Maggie Doyle, and Emma Visser. Midfielder Halle Couch was credited with winning 14 and controlling 5. Defensive player of the game was awarded to Rylee Sigler for her hustle, caused turnover, and ground ball. The team’s Ground Hog Award went to Adia Sikkema as she scooped up no less than 5 ground balls. With five assists Niya Couch was awarded Laxister of the game. Nice work Eagles!!
