Eagles Varsity overcomes Caledonia 9-7! Goals were scored by seniors Lili Bouwma (4) and Niya Couch (3), sophomores Halle Couch, and Elizabeth Mehney. Sophomore goalie Katie Hoeksema was credited with 6 saves. With 2 ground balls each, Niya Couch, sophomore defender Annelle Dykema, and senior defender defender Leah Stransky claimed the team’s Ground Hog Award. Defensive player of the game was awarded to sophomore Adia Sikkema with four caused turnovers, and hustle over the entire field. With 3 assists, sophomore midfielder Maggie Doyle was awarded the Laxister of the Game. Well done Eagles!!
