GRAND RAPIDS CATHOLIC CENTRAL: 15
Grand Rapids Christian Varsity Girls Lacrosse fought hard in their game Friday night at home against Catholic Central. They suffered a loss with a final score of 15-5 but never stopped grinding! In an exciting moment of the game our Queen of the Game, Junior Maggie Doyle, forced a turnover by surprise checking out of the opposing teams huddle! Our Ground Hog, Junior Annelle Dykema, scooped an impressive majority of balls down. Junior Emma Visser assisted her way to our Lax Sister award while Junior Katie Hoeksema, our Defender of the Game, blocked 10 shots on goal! Senior Ava Lynn Roossien and Juniors Elizabeth Mehney, and Maddie Christians each scored one goal. Junior Halle Couch led scoring with 2 goals for the evening. Thanks to our fabulous fans for your support once again! Eagles Girls Lacrosse plays 3 games next week with Senior Night on Friday April 28th. Come out and support Girls Lacrosse at 7:30 pm Monday and 7:00 pm Friday at home.
