Grand Rapids Christian Varsity Girls Lacrosse won their game Friday night against Kalamazoo United 12-1 at home.  Queen of the Game, Freshman Miriam Kuperus, was a leader on the field! She ran the midfield passing, grabbing ground balls, intercepting like a champ! Junior Annelle Dykema snagged our Ground Hog award. Junior Adia Sikkema assisted her way to our Lax Sister award helping get some first time goals for others, while Junior Maggie Doyle caused a number of turnovers earning herself defender of the game!  First time varsity goals were scored by Seniors Ally Samuels and Bree Lane as well as Junior Elise Deyoung. Other goals were scored by Senior Kidist Nelson, Juniors Annelle Dykema, Elizabeth Mehney, Emma Visser, Halle Couch, Maddie Christians, and Sophomore Morgan Cocco.  Thanks to our fabulous fans for your support at senior night.  It was a wonderful evening for lacrosse! Eagles Girls Lacrosse has another three game week next week with a Monday night home game.  Come support your Eagles at 7pm in Eagles Stadium Monday May 1.
