The Eagles Varsity Football team traveled to West Catholic High School to take on the Falcons for the fourth week of the regular season.

Both offenses started slowly, trading possessions for the better part of the first quarter.  The Eagles opened the scoring on a 61 yard touchdown run by Thad Gamble ending the quarter with a 7-0 lead for the Eagles.  The Eagles began to take over the game in the second quarter with a scoring barrage, led by Thad Gamble with 2 more touchdown runs before the Falcons got on the board with a touchdown of their own.  The GRC offense however, would answer back with 2 touchdown passes by Eason Harduin to Brian hunter and Marcellus Vanderkodde.  The second coming after the Eagles onside kick caught the Falcons off guard and was recovered by Ja'Martae Hogan.  The two quick scores would give the Eagles 35-7 lead going into the half.

The scoring in the second half would again be led by Thad Gamble.  Taking a handoff and breaking multiple tackles on his way to a spectacular 50 yard touchdown run.  He would end the night as the offensive leader with 222 yards rushing on 17 carries. On the next possession for the Falcons, Ronin Russell-Dixon intercepted a pass and made a fantastic run of his own, going in 43 yards for a defensive touchdown to put the exclamation point on the game for the Eagles.

With time winding down in the game, GRC emptied the bench to get the starters some rest and the younger players valuable experience in live game action.  Ja'Martae Hogan would add the final score of the game on a 30 yard touchdown run with his only carry of the night.  Final score of 56-10 to give the Eagles win number 2 for the season.

Eason Harduin ended the night with 177 yards passing on 16 completions, spreading the ball around to a host of recievers.  Jordan Dockery would prove to be his favorite target of the night hauling in 6 of those completions for 49 yards.

The dominating defensive effort was equally spread out with many of the starters recording multiple tackles. The highlight of the defense, coming on the interception returned for touchdown by Russel-Dixon. He would add 2 solo tackles and an assist, while Davion Gillen would lead all tacklers with 5 solo and 1 assist.
