Boys Varsity Wrestling Falls to Hamilton HS in Team District

The wrestling team traveled to Hamilton HS where they fell 9-72 to eventual district champion Hamilton. Jayden Wierenga started the Eagles off with an exciting 17-14 Sudden Victory decision. Jayden battled back from and early 2-6 deficit and tied the match up as time expired. Jayden quickly returned to his offense and scored a takedown to secure the victory. Caleb Pugh improved his season to 26-3 with a 28 second pin over his opponent. The Eagles wrestle at Individual District at Stevensville Lakeshore High School on Saturday.
