GRC JV Baseball took the crown at the Unity Christian Invitational this weekend, winning two games.
In Game 1 against Calvin Christian, a 5 inning no hitter from Ezekiel Herrema let the Eagles offense unleash. It was a 10-0 Final after 9 runs in the 5th including a grand slam from Noah Funk.
In Game 2 against our host Unity Christian Ben Rusticus earned the win for Eagles. The righthander went seven innings, allowing one run on eight hits and striking out three. Brock Barron went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits. The defense was stellar committing no errors.
