Grand Rapids Christian JV Boys Basketball tipped off there 2019/2020 season on the road at Zeeland East. The Eagles got off to a slow start on the offensive end and the defensive end, which was expected being the first game of the year. The Chix took it to the Eagles in the beginning stages of the first quarter and took the lead briefly. The Eagles finally stepped on the gas pedal and picked up the pressure. After one The Eagles led 24-18. The Eagles got the game into an uptempo fashion. Shots started to fall for the Eagles, and started to cruise after halftime. Brandon Schepel paced the Eagles with 18 points. Nick Cassiday added 15 points and double digit assist as well. The final score was 93-56. GRCHS JV will travel to NorthPointe Christian on Friday for 4:00pm tip.
