The Eagles went on the road to play the NorthPointe Christian Mustangs. GRCHS JV Boys Basketball team got off to a face pace start on the offensive end and applied pressured full court on the defensive side of the ball. The Eagles jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and lead 28-14 after one. The defensive pressure continued the rest of the game. The Eagles got hot from behind the arc and continued to extend there lead to go up at the half 53-29. The second half the started off great for the Eagles as they got hot from behind the arc. The continued pressure and having a great flow on the offensive end allowed the Eagles to extend the lead the second half. The Eagles defeated the Mustangs 92-39.
Brandon Schepel led the offensive attack with 30 points and 8 3's. Amir Nixon came off the bench and added 19 points. CJ Jones and Delon McCloud both added 13 points as well. Eagles return to action this upcoming Tuesday at home against Grand Rapids Catholic Central.
