The Eagles put worth there best defensive performance holding Holland Christian to two points the first quarter and 8 total for the first half. Some early foul trouble slowed the Eagles down the first half on the offensive end and shooting 1 for 13 from the three as well contributed to only scoring 23 points in the first half. The Eagles continued the defensive performance the second half and stuck to the game plan of pressuring the ball and fronting the bigs in the post. Grand Rapids Christian finally got some perimeter shots to fall and pulled away in the second half winning 52-29.
