The Eagles and Pioneers battled hard till the final buzzer. The game went back an worth as nearly team could get in a rhythm. After the first quarter the Eagles led 12-11. The Eagles pressed on the gas pedal in the second quarter as they made some perimeter shots and started to get some defensive rebounds that led to some easy baskets. At half the Eagles pushed their lead to 17 points. The third was a back and forth quarter where no team made any ground. The Eagles struggled all night on the defensive backboards and it cost the Eagles in fourth quarter. They allowed the Pioneers back in the game. The Eagles made enough plays down the stretch to pull out a 54-52 victory.
The Eagles were led by Brandon Schepel with 15 points off 5 three's and CJ Jones with 13 points. The next game for the Eagles is Friday at Forest Hills Eastern @ 4pm.
