NORTHVIEW HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The JV Eagles shut out Northview to capture their first win of the season! The Eagle defense swarmed all game long and forced 4 turnovers. TeQuan Culbreath and Tyler Porte both had a fumble recovery. Alek Wickstrom had a goal-line interception and to end the game Kellen Russell-Dixon forced a fumble that was scooped up by Tayvarie Heard. The Eagle offense rolled, scoring a touchdown in each half. Scoring drives were capped off by a 31 yard touchdown strick from Alek Wickstrom to Jude Klunder and a 4 yard run by Kellen Russell-Dixon. Noah Funk also scored when the Eagles went for 2. The JV team will be back in action next week against East Grand Rapids.
