Boys JV Soccer draw Holland HS

The JV Eagles headed out to Holland for an annual invitational with Holland High School and Gull Lake. Historically, these teams provide a tough test for the boys at the beginning of the season.
The game against Holland started at 10AM with the team showing good organization out of the gate. The game was physical right away with fouls being won across the field. With the team defensively solid, Graham de Jonge and Tyler Wolters kept the team organized as the ball transitioned from offense to defense.
The second half provided some good chances to get a goal, but was just missing the end product. Excellent midfield play from Will VandenBerg, Caden Hoving, and Max Rodwell continued to set up the forwards and wingers with chances. In the end, the game finished 0-0 but with some good signs from the Eagles.
