The JV Tennis team continued improvement today, falling to Catholic Central but making important strides in match, tactics, and overall experience.

From the top of the lineup to the bottom, the Eagles fought hard at every flight.  Derek Jacobsen and Ethan Brandt claimed the lone win at #3 Doubles, but the performance is valued over the result, as several flights had tough matches.

At #1 Doubles, Peter Bos and Brevin Ganzevoort battled in a tough match they almost took into three sets at 2-6, 6-7 (2-7). #2 Doubles Matt Molenhouse and Drew Leonard had tight match coming up just short at 5-7, 4-6. 

We may not have come out on top today, but we came out ready to compete. All of our guys fought hard for every ball tonight. A loss is not always a defeat. The GRC Boys JV Tennis team continues to uphold the outstanding reputation for Christian High, and even in a tough loss, they played with class and with respect for their opponents, while representing Christ on and off the tennis court.
