EAST KENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The JV boys lacrosse team defeated the East Kentwood Falcons JV 16 - 1 on Wednesday as the team entered conference play. The team was strong in all elements of the game as they cruised to victory.
Isaac Zull played a strong game in goal while Jonah Mulder and the other D-poles provided a strong defense. Evan Bolt also had a strong night of taking faceoffs.
The Eagles were led in scoring by Elijah VanderKodde (4 goals) and Adrian Selfe (3 goals). The Eagles also got a lot of balanced scoring with Leland Lautenbach, Adam VanderHart, Parker Will, BJ Apol, Sam VanderMeyden, Asa Bremer Bennet, and Max Dekker all contributing to the score. The team also got assists from Adrian Selfe, Adam VanderHart, Parker Will, Sam Vander Meyden, and Carson Stransky.
Overall, it was a solid, balanced game from the Eagles. Well done!
