The Eagles were back on the field Tuesday night hosting the Knights of Kenowa Hills. The Knights came ready to play and netted their first goal less than a minute into the game. A few penalties slowed the Eagles down but they continued to battle for every possession and every ground ball which led to Hudson Ogle putting the Eagles on the board. The first quarter continued with back-and-forth goals, ending with Kenowa Hills up 3:2. The Knights found their rhythm in the second putting up four unanswered goals. Just before the clock ticked down for halftime, Arie Teitsma scored off of a pass from Seanyk Fleurette bringing the score to 3:7.
Scoring slowed down and penalties picked up in the second half of the game preventing the Eagles from catching the Knights. Kolbe Gabryszk had an unassisted goal to round out the scoring for GRC in the third. Kenowa Hills took the win with a final score of 10:4. Evan Bolt was again the go-to FOGO while John Watson manned the net for the majority of the game.
