The JV Eagles hosted Jenison at Eagles Stadium in their final home game of the season.  Both teams were plagued with smaller-than-normal roster numbers, so the game was played in a 7 v 7 format. 

The Eagles were able to get on the board first with a goal by Arie Teitsma shortly into the first quarter. Jenison answered back three minutes later to tie it up.  Seanyk Fleurette found the net before the end of the quarter to regain the lead.  The boys lost a bit of steam in the second and third quarters with several turnovers, missed ground balls, and loss of possession in the circle allowing the Wildcats to score seven unanswered goals taking them into the final quarter up by six.  

The Eagles showed us that they know how to soar and turned the fourth quarter around with an impressive fight for every possession.  Both Evan Bolt and Zack Stonehouse won draws giving the team opportunities to make amazing strides offensively which led to six Ealge goals in the fourth quarter.  Hudson Ogle had two goals and one assist, Seanyk Fleurette scored his second of the night and earned an assist, Arie Teitsma scored his second of the game, and Evan Rusticus and Zack Stonehouse each had one. John Watson and Jacob Benoit shared time in the net facing 27 shots on the night. Evan Bolt did the lion's share of battle in the face-off circle winning 10 of the 17 draws he took.
