Game 2 started fairly quickly, as Jack Micus started on the mound for the freshman Eagles. However, completely opposite of their recent hitting performances, the Eagles struggled at the plate today. In Game 2, only one hit came up in the box score for Grand Rapids Christian: an RBI single from Sam VanderSloot, scoring Jake Koetje. Koetje stole a base to get him in proper scoring positioning for VanderSloot to rocket one through the infield.
Bulldogs win again, 14-2.
