Grand Rapids Christian Eagles Freshman Baseball slow down against East Grand Rapids, 6-3, in Game 2
Another solid pitching performance from the Eagle pitchers at Gainey Athletic Complex, but the freshmen Grand Rapids Christian Eagles baseball team lost to the East Grand Rapids Pioneers with a final score of 6-3 in Game 2.
A heartbreaker, as the Eagles had their first lead of the season early on, but East Grand Rapids kept swinging. One inning here, and one run there, made it a close game, and eventually gained them the lead, for the Pioneers. The Eagles made some solid defensive plays to stop the Pioneer runners from scoring early on.
Pitching:
Luke Olney pitched nearly a complete game, only walking one Pioneer through 4.1 innings.
Isaac Anderson made his first high school pitching appearance, coming in relief to finish up the game in a couple of pitches.

Will Bush smoked an RBI double
