WEST OTTAWA HIGH SCHOOL: 5
Tough season opener loss for the very resilient freshman squad who battled together to the end, despite having no substitutes and having our alternate goalie on the field as a defender. Our extremely talented captain -Max Michael- demonstrated great leadership in both communication and goals, as he scored both of our goals and came close a few other times. It was tied 2-2 at half and part of the second half until the apparent fatigue set in.
The players played really well and showed a lot of heart and grit on the field. Excited for continuous growth and looking forward to these next couple of games.
