Our first home game of the season was one that showed a lot of promise for the team. The players had so much fun playing together as this was one where we had a few additional players as substitutes. The game started off rather evenly matched and stayed that way through the opening moments. It wasn't too long until the scoreboard started getting filled up with multiple goals from both Ben DeYoung and Boris Lilac. They would both go on to end the game with at least 3 goals each. Other player who also contributed to the massive win - with or without scoring - were Max Michael, Isaac Williams, Abel DenDulk, Peter Borst, Soren White, Jake Koetje, Jose Pedraza, Tyler Stinton, Sam VanderSloot, Tyler DeBoer, and Miles Bourland.
The was great communication throughout the game, as well as a lot of lessons we plan taking into consideration in our future games.
