LOWELL HIGH SCHOOL: 17
The Eagles fell behind early in game two and were unable to recover from the deficit, losing 17-1. Ellie VandeGriend, Lauren Holkeboer, and Abbe Diemer all shared the mound. Together they gave up 16 hits and had 3 strikeouts.
At the plate, Diemer led the team going 2 for 2 with a single and a double bringing in the only run for the Eagles. Renee Prins, Greta Vance, and Holkeboer each had one hit.
The Eagles face off against the red arrows at their field again on Friday at 4:15.
