FOREST HILLS CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 21
The Eagles bats came alive in game two, racking up a total of 11 hits as a team. However, it wasn't enough to match FHC 23 hits, and the Eagles lost 11-21.
Abbe Diemer led things off on the mound, she gave up 19 hits over five innings, striking out 3. Ellie VandeGriend threw one inning of relief, giving up 4 hits.
At the plate, VandeGriend led the Eagles going 3 for 5 with a walk and 1 RBI. Each having 2 hits were Anna VanHeulen and Keira Porte. Renee Prins, Abbe Diemer, Megan Hermen, and Bryleigh Anderson each had one hit.
The Eagles face off against Forest Hills Central again on Wednesday, May 4.
