NORTHVIEW HIGH SCHOOL: 39
The Eagles came out impressively strong against Northview Thursday night starting with a 16-1 run in the first quarter led by 12 points from Emma Van Goor in the first 8 minutes. From there, Northview had some catching up to do but was able to fight their way back in with some good shots. Lauren Holkeboer and Hope Alvesteffer both added 3 pointers in the second quarter to fend off the Wildcats. The score narrowed, but the Eagles led the whole game and controlled the pace led by Van Goor who finished with 14 and Holkeboer who finished with 11. The Eagles will be back Saturday night at South Christian.
