Girls Junior Varsity Basketball Loses To South Christian

SOUTH CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 26
The JV girls came out strong against a very evenly matched South Christian team Saturday night. Both teams found defensive stops often and the game stayed slow on offense going into halftime down 15-11. Kayla Lyons came out strong in the 3rd and helped keep the team in the game as the leading scorer coupled with Annelle Dykema down low. With a very tight last 8 minutes the Eagles were not able to close in fully on the Sailors despite best efforts and some great 4th quarter scores by Emma Van Goor. The Eagles are back Tuesday night at home.
