GR Christian JV Girls Lacrosse were defeated by Spring Lake 20-1 but not without an amazing defense by Sophomore Goalie Ella Prins with 8 blocked shots on goal and Freshman Goalie Elaine Rodenhouse with 6 blocked shots in the second half. Ella Prins was awarded Defender of the Game. Lax sister was junior Rehn Oosterman who was quick to assist everywhere on the field during both halves while the groundhog award went to Senior Bree Lane who scooped the most balls. Freshman Makena Nyhuis had a strong showing on Defense and Freshman Lila Jabara pushed through Spring Lake's defense on Attack. Newcomer Ally Samuels (Senior) made an impressive introduction on the circle and Sophomore Jaline Henderson held steady at the draw. Go Eagles!
