The freshman volleyball team had a great start to the season by winning the Jenison Invitational. The Eagles split the first game against Coopersville. Following, the team won both sets against Gull Lake and East Grand Rapids to secure a first place seed in the gold bracket. In bracket play, they came out with a close win against Jenison to put them in the finals to face Coopersville once again. The girls showed great determination and beat Coopersville in two sets to win the tournament.
