After Friday’s frigid temperatures, yesterday’s sunshine just felt great!  We had a lot of going on in the last couple of days, including a dual meet with Cadillac on Friday and the Norms GS Cup Invitational Race yesterday.  The Eagles faced off against Forrest Hills Northern/Eastern, Spring Lake, West Catholic/Catholic Central, Rockford, Forrest Hills Central, Northview, Grand Haven, and Caledonia.  The boys and girls Varsity skied a solid race with both finishing first overall!  Great Team Skiing everyone, our boys scorers all finished in the top 15 (5 in the top 20) and our girls scorers all finished in the top 20 (also took 5 of the top 20 spots), awesome job everyone!

This race also provided an opportunity for our JV team to race amongst other area JV teams and be scored.  Again, another solid performance with the JV girls finishing first overall and the JV boys finishing second overall.

• Lily Tatko medaled for 2nd place
• Sophia Leonard medaled for 3rd place
• Katherine Brandt medaled for 5th place 

I will also add that our Middle School Girls continue our tradition of podium sweep in the middle school portion of the race, while we also had some representation on the Boys podium as well.  The future is bright!
