Eagles Lose: 199.00 - 239.00
The Eagles traveled to Boulder Creek to face off against Northview and Greenville High School. The course proved to be challenging for all the teams due to its length and difficult greens. While Northview and Greenville both ended with team scores of 239, the Eagles rose to the occasion and won with a team score of 199. The top scorers for the Eagles were Alana Lyons (47), Lili Bouwma (48), Jojo Burgess (51), and Alex VerMeulen (53). The Eagles second to last match of the season is Monday against Forest Hills Northern at Indian Trails.

The Eagles competed against Greenville at Indian Trails. Greenville had played the front 9 before because many teams in the OK White Conference use Indian Trails as their home course. Therefore, the home field advantage as high as usual. After a quick round, the Eagles and Greenville tied 183-183. The odds of this happening are not easy to calculate, but it definitely does not happen often. The top scorers for the Eagles were Lili Bouwma (41), Natalie Poortenga (43), Alex VerMeulen (45), and Ava Dingman (54). The Eagles will compete against Greenville and Northview today at Boulder Creek.

The Eagles traveled to Maple Hill Golf Club to compete against Byron Center. The course played short which proved to be helpful in some ways, but challenging in others. In the end, the Eagles lost 182-174. The top scorers for the Eagles were Lili Bouwma (41), Natalie Poortenga (46), Jojo Burgess (47), and Alana Lyons (48). The Eagles next match is Wednesday at Indian Trails against Greenville.

The Eagles went to Western Greens on Saturday morning in Marne, MI for there first and only invitational of the season. Even with the frost delay, the invitational started on time. After a long 5 hour round of 18 holes, the Eagles finished in 3rd place out of 14 teams losing only to East Grand Rapids and Forest Hills Eastern. Lili Bouwma tied for 3rd place and Jojo Burgess tied for 5th with scores of 99 and 101 consecutively. Great job Eagles!

After a 5 hour round of 18 holes, the Eagles finished in 3rd place with a team score of 428 losing only to East Grand Rapids and Forest Hills Eastern. As individuals, Lili Bouwma tied for 3rd and Jojo Burgess tied for 5th with scores of 99 and 101 consecutively. Great job Eagles!

The Eagles took on Forest Hills Central at Indian Trails. Everyone played well and after much deliberation the stroke totals came in with the Eagles winning 192-194. This was the Eagles closest match of the season thus far. The top scorers for the Eagles were Lili Bouwma (45), Alex VerMeulen, Jojo Burgess (49), and Alana Lyons (50). Great job Eagles!

For the second time this season, the Eagles competed against Lowell. The first time they competed, Lowell beat the Eagles, but that fact didn't phase the Eagles. They came out strong today and, in a close match, ended up winning 195-203. The top scorers for the Eagles were Jordan Burgess (43), Lili Bouwma (47), Alana Lyons (52), and Frankie Volkema (53). Byron Center came in second with a team score of 194 followed by South Christian with a team score of 207.
