State Finals GR Christian 2   University Liggett 1 The Eagles captured the State Championship on Saturday by defeating University Liggett 2-1.  The Eagles got on the board in the first inning when Cam Seth tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Ty Uchman pitched GR Christian Varsity Eagles to victory. The lefthander lasted four innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out three.  Seth threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Seth recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for the Eagles. Kyle Remington led the Eagles with two hits in three at bats. The Eagles finished the season 36-5.

State Semi Finals GR Christian 4   Flint Powers 0 Kyle Remington had all the right stuff on Friday for the Eagles, allowing zero runs and besting Flint Powers Catholic Chargers by a score of 4-0 In the second inning, the Eagles got their offense started when Grant Garman induced Cam Seth to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Remington took the win for the Eagles. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Freshman Parker Seth went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Eagles in hits.

The number one ranked Grand Rapids, Christian Eagles, defeated the second ranked Lakeshore Lancers in a heavyweight tilt 8-2 to claim the regional title on Saturday. Kyle Remington got the win on the mound, working six strong innings with cam Seth coming in to close the door. Luke Gelderloos, Parker Seth, and Isaac Hubka contributed big RBI hits in the team win.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles easily did away with Olivet Varsity Eagles 12-2 on Saturday in a Quarterfinal game on Saturday. GR Christian Varsity Eagles fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ty Uchman tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. GR Christian Varsity Eagles tallied five runs in the second inning.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles offense in the inning was led by Uchman, Jackson Isaacs, and Cam Seth, who each had RBIs in the inning. Uchman took the win for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The southpaw allowed four hits and two runs over four and a third innings, striking out four.  Seth threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Uchman led GR Christian Varsity Eagles with two hits in three at bats. The Eagles are 34-5 on the season and play Friday at 9 AM versus Flint Powers Catholic in the State semi finals at Michigan State University.

The Eagles opened up scoring in the second inning, when an error scored one run for them. Cannon Paul took the win on the mound. The pitcher allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out five and walking one.  Cam Seth threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Paul led the Eagles with two hits in four at bats. The win improves the Eagles to 32-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Kalamazoo College for a 10am Regional Final game against Stevensville Lakeshore.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles beat East Grand Rapids 6-1 on Tuesday in a Pre District game. GR Christian Varsity Eagles scored four runs in the sixth inning.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles big bats were led by Ty Uchman, Jackson Isaacs, and Cannon Paul, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Kyle Remington was the winning pitcher for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The righty allowed eight hits and one run over six innings, striking out five.  Cam Seth threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Luke Gelderloos, Remington, Uchman, Isaac Hubka, Isaacs, and Paul each collected one hit to lead GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The win improves the Eagles to 29-5 on the year.

A walk-off single propelled GR Christian Varsity Eagles to a decisive, dramatic victory over Varsity Caledonia Fighting Scots, 6-5.  The game was tied at five with GR Christian Varsity Eagles batting in the bottom of the eighth when Will Vanwingerden singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. GR Christian Varsity Eagles fired up the offense in the first inning, when Cannon Paul grounded out, scoring one run. Charlie Kileen took the win for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. Kileen went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out two and walking zero.  Paul threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Zeke Heerema started the game for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. Kyle Remington had all the right stuff on Thursday for GR Christian Varsity Eagles, allowing zero runs and besting Byron Center by a score of 15-0 Cannon Paul led GR Christian Varsity Eagles to victory by driving in four runs.  Paul went 3-for-4 at the plate.  Paul drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a double in the fourth. GR Christian Varsity Eagles tallied 12 runs in the fourth inning.  The big inning was thanks to singles by Ty Uchman, Paul, Cam Seth, and Josh Winkle, doubles by Remington and Paul,  by Jackson Isaacs, and a groundout by Jackson Groen. Remington was the winning pitcher for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The righthander surrendered zero runs on one hit over four innings, striking out six and walking one. GR Christian Varsity Eagles collected 16 hits.  Paul, Remington, Isaacs, Isaac Hubka, Uchman, and Seth each had multiple hits for GR Christian Varsity Eagles.  Remington and Paul each collected three hits to lead GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The Eagles improve to 27-5 and finish the OK White as champs with a 17-3 record.

The Eagles clinched the OK White Conference title with a 10-0 win over Byron Center.  Kyle Remington led GR Christian Varsity Eagles to victory by driving in four runs.  Remington went 2-for-3 at the plate.  Remington drove in runs on a single in the second and a single in the fifth. GR Christian Varsity Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning.  Cannon Paul's sac fly scored one run for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. GR Christian Varsity Eagles notched four runs in the fifth inning.  Jackson Groen, Remington, and Paul all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. A single by Simon in the second inning was a positive for Byron Center. Uchman was the winning pitcher for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. Uchman allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four. GR Christian Varsity Eagles tallied eight hits.  Remington and Paul each managed multiple hits for GR Christian Varsity Eagles.  The win improves the Eagles to 26-5 on the season.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 5-2 loss to Byron Center on Monday.  Byron Center took the lead on a single in the second inning. GR Christian Varsity Eagles lost despite out-hitting Byron Center six to five. Byron Center opened up scoring in the second inning.  Kroft drove in one when Kroft  Cam Seth led things off on the mound for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The pitcher went six innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out two and walking zero. Josh Winkle led GR Christian Varsity Eagles with two hits in three at bats.The loss dropped the Eagles to 25-5  and 15-3 in the league.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ty Uchman singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Monday's game against Forest Hills Central was a heartbreaker for GR Christian Varsity Eagles, as they lost the lead late in a 7-6 defeat.  The game was tied at six with Forest Hills Central batting in the top of the seventh when Kyle Remington induced Tellier to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Cam Seth was on the mound for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. Seth surrendered seven runs on nine hits over six and a third innings, striking out four.  Remington threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. GR Christian Varsity Eagles got out to an eight-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 10-9 victory over Lowell on Tuesday.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning.  In the third Ty Uchman singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Jackson Isaacs singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, Josh Winkle tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Cam Seth grounded out, scoring one run, and an error scored one run for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. Uchman led the GR Christian Varsity Eagles to victory on the pitcher's mound. The lefthander allowed one hit and three runs over four and a third innings, striking out seven.  Isaac Hubka, Isaacs, and Winkle all put in work in relief out of the bullpen.  GR Christian was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Portage Northern Huskies on Saturday.  The game was tied at six with Portage Northern Varsity Huskies batting in the bottom of the sixth when Keegan McIntyre drew a walk, scoring one run. In the first inning, GR Christian got their offense started when Josh Winkle singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. The Eagles scored three runs in the third inning led by singles by Jackson Isaacs, Cam Seth, and Luke Gelderloos. Isaacs went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead GR Christian Varsity Eagles in hits.

The Eagles beat Okemos on Saturday ]4-2 Zeke Heerema was on the pitcher's mound for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The lefthander lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out two. Parker Seth and Isaac Hubka closed out the victory.  The offense manufactured the runs Cam Seth went 1-2 with an RBI. The win improves the Eagles to 15-3 on the season.

GR Christian cruised to an easy victory over Greenville 8-2 on Wednesday The Eagles tallied three runs in the third inning.  Cam Seth and Josh Winkle all drove in runs in the frame. Seth took the win for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The righthander lasted six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out 11 and walking one.  Zeke Heerema threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Eagles collected eight hits on the day.  Seth and Seth each managed multiple hits for GR Christian Varsity Eagles.  The Eagles improved to 12-2 overall and 8-1in the OK White.

Eagles Win: 13 - 0
GR Christian defeated Greenville 13-0 on Thursday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. The Eagles secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive firepower was led by Jackson Isaacs, Cam Seth, Luke Gelderloos, Joey Lukezich, Kyle Remington, and  Isaacs, all knocking in runs in the inning. In the first inning, the Eagles got their offense started.  Ty Uchman hit an inside the park solo homer. Isaacs got the win on the bump. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out four.  Josh Winkle and Kileen entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in  Uchman, Remington, and Seth each collected multiple hits for the Eagles.  Seth, Remington, and Uchman all had two hits. The win improves the Eagles to 14-2 and 10-1 in the OK White.

Ty Uchman got busy on the basepaths on Tuesday, knocking four hits in the Eagles's 10-4 victory over East Grand Rapids.  Uchman doubled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the sixth. The Eagles pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Kyle Remington singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Uchman singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. GR Christian tallied five runs in the sixth inning. The Eagles put the pressure on, lead by doubles by Uchman and Cam Seth and a sacrifice fly by Josh Winkle. GR Christian Varsity Eagles's effort to come back from down four runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 4-3 to East Grand Rapids on Monday.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles tallied three runs in the failed comeback. Ty Uchman and Kyle Remington picked up RBIs to lead the rally. Cam Seth led things off on the mound for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. GR Christian Eagles nabbed the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Forest Hills Northern on Tuesday.  The game was tied at four with the Eagles batting in the top of the sixth when Ty Uchman singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. The Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning.  Cannon Paul drew a walk, scoring one  Remington doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Uchman threw 4 strong innings giving up 1 run and striking out 9. Paul earned the win for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. GR Christian improves to 2-0 on the season. #20 was on the pitcher's mound for Forest Hills Northern Varsity Huskys. The hurler surrendered four runs on four hits over three innings, striking out six.  #7 threw four innings out of the bullpen. Uchman started the game for GR Christian Varsity Eagles.
